As the only system where finance, housing and personnel data can be held in the same database, QL is a single solution for all RSL needs and it is the only truly integrated housing, finance and personnel package in the marketplace.

QL is based on Microsoft technology, including the industry-standard SQL Server database platform. This means that it is easy for staff to use, and easy to administrate - thus reducing the level of IT expertise required by your organisation.

Uniquely, QL gives you a new way of viewing and analysing data - the Grid. This is a powerful feature that lets users select one or more records (tenancies, properties, etc), and then choose the fields from those records that they wish to see displayed in screen.

Further, it allows users to perform dynamic grouping, sorting and a 'drag and drop' of data into other applications such as Excel. The Grid is a familiar way of looking at information, being a reproduction of the same facility within Microsoft Outlook - thus giving users a familiar 'look and feel' from day one.

Functional, Familiar and Flexible

QL Housing offers a full range of functionality in all the areas of activity you would expect. Based on Microsoft SQL Server, the system is modern and highly flexible, as well as functional.

Rent Accounting

The Rent Accounting module allows you to manage tenancies, rent accounts, charges and payments, whilst also facilitating the recording of Housing benefit information.

Rent Arrears

The Arrears Management functionality allows you to map your arrears recovery policies on to the system and then automatically generate recommendations for action.

Void Management

In terms of empty properties, a Void Management module allows automation of the void process and seamless integration with rents, waiting list and repairs modules to allow you to monitor and minimise void times.

Supporting People

Supporting People requirements are met by the system, with the ability to manage contracts, tenancies, services and charges, coupled with the ability to produce the reports demanded by the statutory bodies.

Allocations and Choice-Based Lettings

A Waiting List module allows you to hold unlimited lists and sub registers, each with its own policy - pointing or date-based. Applicant details can be held and reported on, and a full audit framework, operating throughout the system, means that any letting that is questioned can be justified instantly.

Reactive Repairs

A powerful Reactive Repairs module, optionally linked into the Locator Plus graphical diagnostic tool, allows you to manage your repairs service and to cope with issues such as appointments, recharges, no access, and the Right-to-Repair.

Contractor Module

For those organisations with DLO / Works operations, QL offers a fully integrated module with order allocation to operatives, internal job costing, and optionally stock and materials management.

Planned Maintenance and Servicing

In addition, a Planned Maintenance module integrates with the stock condition register to give you time-based forward projections that will inform your planning process and give you visibility of when stock attributes may be in need of servicing, replacement, etc

Estate Management and CRM

Estate Management is also aided by the QL system, with full Contact Management and Workflow to automatically trigger tasks based on procedures, with full integration into Microsoft Office provided.
