Meet our Management and Leadership team


Rob Griffiths, Managing Director

Rob joined Aareon UK in October 2018 as a Business Advisor, then went on to become Interim General Manager from January 2019. In December 2019, he became Managing Director. Rob has been a professional Interim Director of 33-assignments over the last 19-years. His roles have led to leadership and operational success in highly competitive and fast-paced B2B Technology and Business-Services related verticals, across multiple B2B SME, Corporate and Public sectors.


Tina Kennedy, Head of Digital

Tina joined Aareon in April 2020, as Head of Digital to lead the innovation and development of Aareon’s Digital Products and Services, to drive better outcomes for our customers.

Tina has a broad commercial, sales and marketing background and experience to bring to Aareon, with a successful and versatile 25-year career across multiple sectors, including FMCG, Public Sector, retail, financial services, software and telco. 

Demonstrating a solid and proven track record of driving excellent commercial results, setting clear strategic direction, and delivering increased customer satisfaction. 

Being highly data and insight driven, with a strong customer first ethos and mentality, Tina delivers insightful business strategies designed to help solve our customer’s issues. Tina is passionate about people, and always looks to identify and nurture talent and develop great teams.


Justin Hines, CFO

Justin has been UK CFO at Aareon UK since July 2020. Justin is an experienced CFO who qualified with KPMG nearly 30 years ago, and has gone on to manage across a range of sectors and market leading brands, and across both large corporates and SME’s. As well as managing all aspects of finance functions he has a broad depth of experience in operations, IT, product development and commercial contracting.

The most recent experience has been gained within technology businesses including implementation of SaaS methodology and B2B connectivity, leading in businesses going through large scale transformation programmes.

Justin also brings a wealth of experience in building and developing teams, and a track record of developing talented people to achieve their goals.


Genevieve Davey-Smith, Head of Human Resources

Genni started as Business Administrator for 1st Touch in February 2014 and became part of Aareon UK when the businesses merged in 2017. In her time within the Housing sector, Genni has built up a lot of commercial knowledge and understanding of Aareon’s customer base.

Genni’s role as Head of Human Resources means she works closely with Aareon UK’s Board of Directors and Management teams, in order to support strategic direction of the business and help drive performance.

Genni is currently finishing her studies for Level 7 CIPD in Human Resource Management, “In order to provide the very best HR support to the business and people in it!” She is originally from Cape Town in South Africa, however has lived in the UK since 2000. She spends most of her spare time with her family or studying for her current HR course.

Elliot Collins, Head of Professional Services

Elliot joined Aareon in June 2021 as Head of Professional Services.  Elliot leads a team of project managers and consultants who deliver projects, consulting and training for our customers.  Elliot has worked in Enterprise software companies for over 25 years and has extensive leadership experience in both Professional Services and Customer Success.

Much of Elliot’s time has been spent in subscription and SaaS businesses across multiple sectors, and he has led teams through business transformations. Elliot is passionate about delivering outcomes and accelerating time to value for customers.

Ian Lockwood, Senior Business Development Manager

Ian Lockwood is part of Aareon UK's Business Development team, focusing on our new business. He joined Aareon in 2002, having previously worked with the Public Sector divisions of Xerox & IBM.

In his time with Aareon, Ian has worked with a wide variety of customers encompassing Local Authorities, ALMO’s, LSVT’s and Housing Associations across the UK to understand their strategic and operational goals and to identify solutions to enable them to be achieved.

Because of his close interaction with customers, Ian also sits on the Aareon Product Board. This is to ensure that customers’ needs, both now and in the future, are fed into Aareon's product development roadmap. This helps to ensure that the Aareon product set remains at the forefront of the housing software market.
