Aareon QL Reporting Services is the preferred tool for the delivery of QL reports, for developing additional reports for users during implementation and through consultancy. This allows customers to develop their own reports and to modify existing standard reports to meet their individual requirements.

Reporting Services is a platform that you can use to create and manage tabular, matrix, graphical, and free-form reports that contain data from relational and multi-dimensional data sources. The product offers a full reporting suite that is available within Aareon QL Housing and natively as a web-based application to non Aareon QL users.

The reports that you create can be viewed and managed over a web-based connection. Reporting Services includes the following core components:

• A complete set of tools that you can use to create, manage, and view reports.
• A Report Server component that hosts and processes reports in a variety of formats. Output formats include HTML, PDF, TIFF, Excel, CSV, and more.
• A Report Builder that allows users to create, save, download, print or output their own ad-hoc reports.

Configurable Parameters

The standard reports all contain drill-down links so you can start at a high level and then click on fields to progressively drill down to more detail – i.e. from a repair’s performance overview report, you can drill down to an individual repair order detail report.

Many of the standard reports have configurable parameters, so that a single report could be run in many different ways (e.g. Arrears reports could be run by scheme, or by housing officer etc.), date ranges for the reports can be selected, different chart types can be selected and if Aareon QL has been set up as multi-company, the company required for the report can be selected.
