Processing of data when you visit our website

(1) When you visit our websites, our servers normally save so-called server log files: the IP address of your PC, the time and date of your request, your Internet browser type, PC operating system and the last page you visited before accessing our site. This is necessary to ensure the technical reliability of our sites. Beyond that we do not link this data to individuals and nor do we have any intention to do so. In case of unlawful use, we reserve the right to review and carry out legal proceedings.

(2) Our websites use Matomo (previously Piwik). This is an open source web-analytics application for the purpose of statistical analysis of visits to our websites. Matomo uses cookies. The information generated by the session cookies about the use of our website, including typical user behavior (tracking) is stored exclusively on Aareon servers. The IP address transmitted is anonymised immediately after processing and before such storage takes place.
You may choose not to have a unique web-analytics cookie identification number assigned to your computer to avoid the aggregation and analysis of data collected on this website. To make that choice, please click below to receive an opt-out cookie.

Please note that the Matomo deactivation cookie is also deleted when you clean up the cookies stored in your browser. You will also need to perform the deactivation procedure again if you are using another computer or web browser.

(3) Additional personal data is not saved when you visit our websites except when you provide such information voluntarily, for example, your name, address, telephone number or e-mail address when registering, applying for specific services, taking part in a survey or requesting information on the company and products, participating in a competition or entering into a contract. The personal data you provide voluntarily is stored and used for the purposes described in each case.
